Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and activist for animal rights. Ali MacGraw is famous for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. In New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. After working as assistant to photographers, she turned her attention to acting and modeling. The actress was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was a promising young actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international fame and the Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. In just three films, MacGraw was named the top female debut at the box office around the globe. Her footprints from 1972 along with her signature were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other films she has appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
