Zoe-perry

Perry was born on July 25, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois to Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first television performances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played the role. The parents of her were not keen to let her pursue acting until she became older and worried about the consequences of stress. Perry acknowledged that she was not confident in her acting during high school. However, she began performing as a means to make friends during her time at Northwestern University after switching from Boston University. Perry, after graduating from Boston University, relocated to New York in search of TV roles. She landed small parts on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness brought her back to California to find theater work. Perry's mother and I appeared on Broadway with her as part of The Other Place, in 2013. The show featured the father of her character Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in the year 2015 in the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry played a lead role in nine episodes of the ABC drama The Family. Perry was also featured in the role of a political thriller Scandal with her father. She also played her older Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. The character was chosen by auditions, even the fact that she had a deep connection with it.
