Hayley Orrantia, an American actress, singer and song writer. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". She is, however, a music lover. It is her first passion. It's something she is experimenting in since the age of nine years old. When she was 12 the world of music had become serious enough for her to pursue a career in music. In 2013, she took on songwriting and produced her first album. The rest is history. Orrantia was born in the USA however she has Hispanic roots. Though she's never spoke Spanish in Mexico She is strongly proud of her Hispanic heritage. Through studying Spanish and writing songs, she is trying to maintain the spirit of her culture. One of her attempts was the creation of a Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere Season of The X Factor. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of the X Factor after she submitted a YouTube audition video. The judge gave her four "yes" vote from the judge during the live stage audition in Seattle. Her initial audition was for solo performance, however, during "Hollywood week" she was placed along with three female vocalists into a trio for remaining auditions. They were eventually eliminated at the final show.
